HELP - Mk1 Octavia window regulator problem

Alright guys,

Any help or tips here would be greatly appreciated. I have a 2002 mk1 Octavia and recently the front drivers side window jammed so i had suspected that one of the cables had snapped. I removed the door card to investigate and found that one of the cables had corroded and snapped. When searching the internet for a replacement cable kit (ebay etc..) the only kits i am able to find are for electric windows, i was just wondering if anyone knew that the electric kit would fit my manual window? or will i have to bite the bullet and go for a full new regualtor?
