Guys and Girls,

After being turned into a fan of Skodas by my father-in-law-to-be (fugly on here) and having driven a mates Octavia VRS, I've finally bitten the bullet and bought one! Decided on one of these because the missus and I tend to go camping quite a bit and the boot is more than adequate to sleep in let alone carry all of the stuff we've accumulated!

It's a 1.8 20vt, 93k, Skoda stamps up to 90k, all the right boxes ticked, few advisories on the last MOT for suspension play/ corrosion but nothing that put me off...just leverage on the asking price!

Plans are just to get it nice and tidy (she says I have OCD :wonder: ), make sure the suspension is safe for now (coilovers with Christmas bonus?!) and get the wheels painted because the previous rattle-can-on-the-drive job isn't quite up to my standard! Bought it with a recently fitted atmospheric BOV so I've bought a 007p and a silicone turbo hose kit to replace the abortion of a job done on the current hoses.

Overall I'm happy with the car so far...haven't driven it since picking it up because I'm waiting for insurance to run out on my current 1-0-skip before I get it out and enjoy it.
