Decat

Featured Replies

Just before I start, I have used the search facility and I have read several topics.

I'm just looking for a bit of clarification, my Fabia has been mapped by Shark for a while now but I am looking at buying a turbo back Milltek system which is Decat'ed. Will my map need adapted to cater for the Decat? From what I have read people say yes and some say no.

Thanks :bearhug:

Im in the same boat with mine, think it will be fine for a while, just dont race car it. Although can you not get an update?

If it was easy enough I would get it mapped in anyway, but, I live like 312 miles from Shark Performance lol.

I've had mine done too. I contacted the guy who did my Shark map and he told me that the map doesn't need to be adjusted :)

Some say no, others say yes. Ask your own mapper direct and check would be the best idea I think.

If it's a Shark map, I'd contact Shark directly, not via the re-sellers.

Everything I've read previously points at decat after map = bad.
