We pick up ours tomorrow

Featured Replies

Well the time is nearly here, in 24 hours time and we can collect our Citigo.

It won't be long after that when we give it a first big test, a trip down to Wiltshire. That should be interesting in our first small car and being gentle with the engine (running in)

Will of course test it out locally first, to get some miles under it's belt, but it'll only be a couple of days before the trip to Wiltshire.

Bet your excited! Good luck with it all!

I know how you must feel Mick. I have an excuse to go into the dealer on Saturday and I'll find out if our car is showing an update. Is to be built this week. Looking forward to the pics, being a Silver Leaf.

Not looking forward to the journey to collect around 25 miles (public transport and three changes) but the return should be exciting with the new car.

Yes pics will be available no doubt, I always have my camera ready.

i did a run kent to devon 2 weeks after i got my greenline, loosen the engine up nicely and got a lot of the running in miles out the way, also got to see what it was like on a run got just over 60mpg with tight engine, wife, 2 teenage kids and boot full of luggage (was only going for 2 days to see a mate, looked but couldnt find kitchen sink but sure it was in there somewhere)

5 k later getting mid/high 60's normal running and still improving

enjoy your new toy, but don't let the wife drive it or she will claim it any you will have her old motor (assuming she has one) then you will have start the wait all over again while you wait for it to breed (as they do)

The reason we are collecting via public transport, she doesn't drive  otherwise she could have taken me up there in our other car.

So both cars are safe with me, I'm just her taxi really

Diito. It's all mine.

Getting a bit concerned now.

Bought the Citygo home and my wife has asked if they do an automatic... :D

Mine got involved in picking the colour and that's about it.

I even decided my choice of colour was best, after all I have to drive it all the time.

is this another citigo-go going to arrive, or a citygo-slow,

is this another citigo-go going to arrive,

I'm mad funding one... funding another would see me in the loony bin.

To be honest, I can't see her giving up the Yeti, but she is definately a Citygo fan now having seen the red and black combo.

Ok we picked it up today, and love it.

A couple of pics to show the Silver Leaf metallic colour, hope they show up ok.

What a nice smooth drive they are, can't wait to get out again in it.

More pics in the picture thread.
