Hi all,

Having ordered the Monte a month ago I’ve started to order a few things for it.....

First thing had to be to lower it, as they look really high, and after much thought I've opted for the 30mm option from Eibach.

If anyone has any pictures of a Monte which has been lowered 30mm could they please post it, I know there are plenty of pictures of vRS's that have been lowered, but I would like to specifically see a Monte due to the sill/wheel arch extension on them. Thanks in advance.

Secondly, are there any recommended performance filters for this engine? BMC or PIper looks about the best of what's available? I'm not going to fit one for performance, it's more for longevity.

Any ideas/thoughts will be gratefully received.

I'm fancying some Eibach springs for my soon to arrive Monte but will the warranty be affected by fitting aftermarket parts?

Skoda do an eibach kit, available as a dealer fit option.

K&N filters don't effect warranty, not sure about other makes.

As above skoda offer a 20mm set of eibachs which would be covered by some if not all of the warranty so im led to believe id advise to check this first.. Not sure this is the case if sourced from eibach direct

I had -30 Eibachs on my old Combi, it lowers it enough for people to look at it and try and figure out what is different to a stock Fabia but it made the ride as rough as hell, almost as bad as the Coilies on my current Polo so I would suggest getting uprated shocks as well.

Will try and find a pic as it had Monte front and rear splitters on it.

I had a Universal filter on mine and it did the job fine.

I think the kit available from skoda is only for the vRS.
