Gonna (hopefully with swmbo`s agreement) get a xbox tomorrow, any good deals about? Want it purely for F1 2012 which is out tomorrow. Everywhere i`v looked is £150 with no deals for the F1 with it.

What about 2nd hand one off ebay or amazon?

Got to watch out on second hand ones - Microsoft do dish out console bans to naughty children which cannot be undone. Make sure you buy from a company rather than an individual or else get written confirmation that it is not banned as a backup.

No concern if you only want offline play but will stop any form of online...

Cheers for the replies. I went for a pre-owned one last time, died just after a year so I thought i`d take a punt on a new one this time. I dont use it very often so its not worth me waiting for a new console to come out, as I say, its only really F1 & forza I want it for. Got one for £150 from argos in the end, suprising lack of stock about it seems, got the game for £35 though so that was a little cheaper than I though.
