Bluefin stage 1 0-60 anyone?

Featured Replies

Hi.

A quick question for anyone with knowledge of Bluefin remaps.

I have a TFSI Octavia VRS running Bluefin stage 1 and am interested to hear if anyone has 0-60 figures in comparison with stock? I also have a Carbonio intake but from what I've read doesnt do a great deal for performance... but does sound fruity!

i had one on an edtion 30 golf and it was incredible.

cant tell you 0-60 time but it was the best mney i spent on it

Transformed the nimble 1.8 Tsi into a rocket!

3rd to 70mph was incredible!

so was 120-150

autobhan permitting

I was the first to get the oil burning version of the superchips map; and it is good. But really in this car you are always gonna be struggling for traction; timing, clutch work and conditions are by far a greater influence than the extra power sub 30 MPH.

From a start In a slight incline on damp poor roads you will likely be humiliated by the local boy racer in a corsa; for the start at least.

From a start In dry roads you are gonna be pretty good.

In the real world, from 30 ish on any road you will leave most in your trail in the CR especially (imho) inclines can be most fun - as can 50-70

I drive in the real world and pay for my own fuel and brake pads - as such, I treat 0-60 figures with a lot of salt.

Thanks for the replies.

I certainly don't rag the car anywhere although the performance is utilised & appreciated.

I also pay my own bills!

I was merely interested to see a comparison from stock figures.

The remap certainly kicks ass!
