Hi all, for some time now I've had a Sony Xplode head unit and 13cm Xplode speakers in the Fun. I recently visited a local in car audio specialist and asked them for a budget proposal. All sounded great until he got to the price, around £1500!! We obviously had very different interpretations of the word 'budget'. I just want a little more depth of sound as the current arrangement offers more treble than bass. Any more affordable options would be gratefully received and perhaps members that have different systems running in pick ups etc.

LFC958 has/had one in the back of his Octy. Makes the requisite thumping noises quite happily. I did have one on the list for my Fun........
