One Month On (well a tad over)

Well since the Hairball household adopted Jana here are my observations over the last month.

Plus points:

- No rattles

- Brilliant visibility

- Very comfortable leather seats

- Very good real world MPG compared to my last car (VAG 1.6 CR oil burner), only 10% more thirsty at 70 MPH

- There is not enough space to post my favorable comments on the panoramic sun roof, to summarize, I love it, definitely a requirement on my next car

- Very sure footed handling once you get used to the little extra body roll on the twisties

- Shows a warm pair of hind paws to most chav mobiles

- Very comfortable

- Bolero sounds great with SD card music and bluetooth streaming

- Bolero unit seems to access more than 2K tracks showing on the album display (all the way from A to Z, 2.5K songs added to card, car is MY 12)

- Reliable phone connection and phonebook navigation

- Park assist is great to show off, If I'm honest it would choose a smaller space than I would and does it perfectly even though I've never used it apart from to show off

- Front and rear parking sensors very good, constant beep is consistently ~30cm from crunch

- Very slick manual gearbox in forward gears

- Boot shopping bag hooks and nets.

- Turning circle is incredible

- Well though out storage (elastic retainers are handy in front door pockets)

- Did I mention that sun roof?

Minus points:

- Not so positive engagement of reverse gear (compared to forward gear selection but still quite positive)

- Semi circle shaped boot caddy cannot engage securely with rubber boot liner or floor cargo net in place.

- Auto dimming rear view mirror seems to lower itself over time so have to re-adjust, lots of speed humps around here, and no I don't sprint over them

- Like all the modern cars that I've driven over the last 3-4 years you can feel the electronics interfering with instant throttle response. My old 2.0 cr 130 Mondeo used to feel like a direct connection between foot and acceleration and seemed quicker but is clearly not

- Can't drive it enough

- Since I got Jana I've seen 2 more in the Chippenham area
