Fault codes P0441, P3137 & P0642

Featured Replies

Sound guys,

Iv read up on the codes & believe it to be a fault with the fuel evap system.

Any recommendations as to where i could start looking, are there parts of it i can reach & check from the engine bay?

Where is the charcoal canister located, has anyone any pics that could help give me a start?

Cheers.

Probably the canister, if you see the washer bottle cap just in front is a black bock with pipes thats the canister,

Over filling the tank can sometimes throw an issue.

Best to check the connections and state of the canister, also run an output test on the valve and make sure that you can hear it operate.

Some guides recommend removing it and checking that it passes air OK.

Iv just removed the canister & hoses that are attached & they all seem to be performing, no splits in them or anything.

I have deleted the codes & they havent come back on as yet.

Seems to be performing normally, just have an unusually poor mpg reading today compared to normal.

Will see what happens later & over the next day or so.

Cheers for your help, much appreciated.

i had a constant issue with mine when it was in warranty, last owner was overfilling it and Skoda said it wasnt covered under warranty kinda like the clutch was being abused by the last user too lol.
