Greetings from Finland!

I've had my Octavia TDI -00 for a month and 4000km, yesterday the odometer passed 200 000km total. Found only the following problems:

-Broken MAF,

-Managed to drop the left rear window into the door by slamming the door shut when the window was open,

-Toasted the antenna powering unit when swapping the old cassette radio to my precious Pioneer cd-HU,

-Now it seems that it has a leak in the pipes after turbo...

I've been absent from here "quite a long time":summertime, fixing that Datsun-project mentioned on signature and getting married and such

How so is that mileage so impressive? Monday I'll get the car to a 225KKM service, so 20k mi in a bit over 6 months, is that bad? :eek:

I assume you mean the aerial booster/amp. Its in the headunit so how did you toast it by removing it?

You know, the "cigar" that is needed in using non-skoda (non-vag I presume) HU

The old cassette player was an aftermarket Blaupunkt, and I think I just managed to snap the coaxial cord when pushing the CD-Pioneer into the slot, whatever, the new "cigar" works just fine

EDIT: BTW, I've managed to drop the right rear window into the door too :/

That old Octavia is still going strong, having some 400 000km in display

I just bought a -04 vRS Fabia on Saturday, need some fixes done by the used cars company before I receive it
