Reversing sensors, slight comical issue, help

Featured Replies

Right, little odd. When reversing my VRS I get the display on the stereo for reversing and the beeping works correctly. However on the picture the sensors seem to be the wrong way round. ie if the obstacle is on the near side it shows on the off side and vice verca. I presume something has been disconnected and put back crossed over by mistake?. But could anyone point me to the problem please.

Sorry cant help on that one. Made me chuckle though!

The wiring to the sensors has been connected the wrong way - mine is the same

You will have to unplug all of the sensors behind the bumper and swap left to right.

A lot of effort if you ask me.

Right. Behind the bumper job, I agree a lot of work for something, might have a look over weekend. Cheers

I almost made that mistake when I fitted mine!

Held the bumper up to car and thought that I'd take one last check just in case.... Glad I did.

Removing the bumper and swapping them over is the only practical solution I'm afraid.

Cheers mate

You can probably do it without removing the bumper, you can leave the sensors in place and just remove the wiring and reverse it.
