QuickTime

Featured Replies

I have just upgraded my iphone4s to the latest iOS and can no longer play videos that are posted on here.

It just says down load a flash player(not possible) or QuickTime.

When I try it says its already installed.

What's going on?

They'll be Flash videos on here - most likely YouTube. Apple doesn't like Google or Flash so you're not allowed to use them. QuickTime has no support for .flv files to my knowledge, but it's been ages since I installed it as VLC does it all anyway on a PC.

If they're on YouTube you should be able to download the 3rd party YouTube app and then play them that way, but only if you search for them within the app, rather than clicking through to them.

Innovation at its finest here!

Why do they mess with stuff, if it ain't broke don't fix it!!

I've got exactly the same problem and posted about it in a different thread. Someone else recommended Puffin in that thread but when i tried it, it didn't load the iPhone version on Briskoda, it loaded the PC version instead which is a bugger to use on the iPhone. :(
