Universal remotes

Featured Replies

Small person in our house has disposed of our remote. Possibly it went in the bin to be covered by a chicken carcass and nappies.

Looking at universal remotes but I can't see what Tvs they work for. We've got an inherited Akura LED which I assume is one of those generic TVs that probably go out under about 20 names to different supermarkets etc.

None of the unversal remotes I've looked up list what models they work for. Any suggestions?

Don't want to spend much tbh.

Asda do some universals and thheir return policy ( if it don't cover yours) is fairly decent . aLSO THERE'S www.akura.com.

I've often used ONE FOR ALL http://www.oneforall...iversal-remotes

not the cheapest but they will get it working and upgrade to match your gear

found in past cheaper ones often only do main brands and cannot be upgraded

As it turns out we found the remote in the cat's bed. He rarely moves so we didn't see it for a bit.

The wee man thinks everything with lots of buttons is a phone so he runs off with remotes etc pretending to speak to his Grandad.

Hopefully it doesnt smell of cat wee.

Nice clean cat that one, so it was just a bit hairy.

You're lucky- my GS has two hiding places- bin or his toybox. Or in a plastic bag.

Harmony remotes are the best I've ever used around £30 for a basic 555 which will do all you want and more. If you do loose or it again which it sounds like you might lol

We suspected the bin. Many things get 'posted' there or out the cat flap.
