I have a new headunit to install, it has a rear USB slot, so want to run a cable neatly into the back of the glovebox.

Is it easy to remove to cut a neat hole for the cable?

very easy to remove...You have a few very accesible bolts. You must have a torx 20 or 25,can't remember

2 torx screws along the top edge, 3 along the bottom. Suggest doing the lower ones first, and the open, and do the top ones. Carefully pull the unit forward and disconnect the plug for the glovebox light.

Easy :-)

When putting it back in, don't forget to reconnect the glovebox light plug.
