Was wondering whether someone could confirm that these 16" alloys are a direct fit, or whether they would require spacers.

I'm just looking for any old crap to run for a couple of weeks whilst I get my spiders refurbed, but havinig trouble finding much...

As long as they are pre 2005 they should be ok after that I thi the pcd changed from 5x100 to 5x112. 16's will clear standard brakes as well

yup, mk1 same. all are golf mk4 platform. 5x100. If tyres are on them, the circumference will be fine too

Thought I'd better check, since I know the cupra R (if not some other models) are slightly different.

Cupra r is still 5x100 on the pre 05 but they come with 18's? That clear the brembo calipers

But does the offset clear? That's the difference I believe...
