Were the 'spider' type alloys on the VRS available in both 16" and 17" in 5x100 stud pattern?

I have a set if 17" ones, and wanted to check they are 5x100 as I want to change to 16" alloys

Yes dude, the Octavia vRS Spiders did come in 16" & 17" in the 5x100 stud pattern

The 16" spiders came on the estates and the 17's on the hatches.

Don't look any different to me, except the amount of tyre wall you can see. Perfectly happy with my 16's. Apart from tyre costs though (and maybe stiffness), I can't understand why you'd want to step down to 16's.

I Just happen to have a set of 16"'s sat in my garage :sun: . They have Michelin tyres on them with fair amount of tread/life left in them. I will never be able to use them soon as getting Uprated Brakes, so they wont fit. :hi:

I want to change back to 16s due to tyre cost and the fact that 17s on standard estate (non VRS) looks like tractor!
