Remapping my 4x4 TDI and Insurance increases

Planning on remaping the new to me 1.9 TDI 4x4 I have as it really feels slow compared to my 110 TDI Octy1.

I was paying about £190 fully comp on my Octy1 and this has risen to nearer £300 for the Octy II in standard guise.

Some of the quotes I have been getting with a map are silly, much more than my other car that has 100Hp more than the Octy even after a map to 140 ish hp.

How much did your Insurance increase when you "mapped" and who were you with?!

Skoda Insurance quoted 10% extra and the same for renewal.

2020 Kamiq with ACC - opinions?

I'm looking at a 2020 Kamiq SEL as a second car, which has the fairly rare 'adaptive' cruise control (not 'predictive adaptive'). I've had mixed experiences with ACC on two Citroens. My recent C5 has it, and it works great and very smoothly so long as you remember that all it really does is keep you on station with the car in front and stop you running into it. Before that had an older Berlingo. That had ACC that it worked, but that system braked fairly hard and later than I'd have liked, then a

I drive around 500 miles per week, commuting to work and back home. I currently have a Skoda Karoq 4x4 2.0 tdi - manual and I'm looking at multiple Skoda Enyaq models. I want to buy one but I cannot decide what capacity the battery should have and what will be better for me. For 71 miles daily and with me charging the car at home over night, I really don't know especially as the car will be second-hand. Whilst in France last week my car received an infotainment update, The car is a 2024 Octavia Vrs diesel hatchback, with a reversing camera retrofitted by East Yorkshire Retrofit. After the update two odd things happened. Firstly the reversing camera did not work at all the first time I reversed the car after the update. Then it worked, but instead of the full screen showing the camera view, it is now two thirds camera view and one third a top-down outline of the car with curved lines showing the

We bought a 2024 Skoda Karoq 1.5 SE L back in May this year. Pretty much ever since we've had it, the front wiper will periodically (randomly) wipe the windscreen when there's blue skies and no rain. Sometimes it will wipe once, sometimes three or even four times. It has been doing this seemingly more frequently in the last couple of weeks when we were away on holiday. Driving back from north Wales yesterday. it happened on seven or eight occassions. I've checked the position of the wiper lever
