Fixing Dented Exhaust, Can It Be Done?

Featured Replies

As can be seen in the below pic, i managed to dent my exhaust quite a few years ago by taking an unexpected trip off road while on the Isle of Wight.

Does anyone know if this can be repaired or am i looking at having to buy a new exhaust if i want it looking good again??

If you heat it up you may be able to shape it back so it looks a little better.

A number of solutions occur to me...

- Buy new tip(s) and get them welded on.

- Scrappies and get an OEM tip welded on.

- Replace the backbox and tip with either OEM or non-OEM.

Have you tried any local exhaust places for prices?

PS: Might be worth giving a dent-master a ring.

Loads of heat and a hammer, the free way.

If that dont work (You have nothing to lose) Buy a tip and get it welded!

I'll cut off my tip and send you it for £35.

Then get it welded on or use 2x exhaust sleeves.
