Rear Offside Door problem

Hi people.

Had my Octavia for around 3 years now, its a 56' 1.9Tdi Skoda octavia, about 2 years ago the rear offside door locked and the window stopped working (nothing happened when the buttons were pressed). Anyway I took it to Skoda and they didnt know what the problem was, but the engineer managed to open the door and it could be only opened from the inside not the outside, the window still didnt work, just got took it for its MOT yesterday and it failed due to the door not opening from the outside (again it opens from the inside only) VOSA were there and failed it, anyway now it opens from both sides and has passed the MOT, but now the door wont lock, has anybody got an idea? VAG com could hope?
