...I wonder what deals you could get on a 'normal' vRS? When do you think the order books are closing?

I am looking at second hand estates and the prices all appear a little on the high side as if they are being priced looking at the list price rather than the VAT free price.

I think I may have missed the Blackline boat :(

Orders for the current octavias stopped on the 5th as far as I know. You can only get stock vehicles now.

According to my dealer the 12mth old VRS Estate Diesel 9000mls I am px on Sat for my Blackline is worth £15500. Be interesting to see when it appears on the forecourt.

Darlington have a blackline when I called a blue one

I'm a massive sucker for limited editions, but i'd rather have a normal vRS and get the options I wanted, to be honest!

Having said that, I didn't even go for a vRS when I got ordered mine!!

I think this may just be for the hatch - check with your dealer, you may still be able to order an estate.

Hi, took delivery of my white manual Blackline yesterday. Cracking bargain at sub 17k....how could I refuse! Amundsen and maxidot work well...all previous posts on these subjects worried me but the technology works well. Seats and inside looks good...but I like black...first wax today...love the dab radio...

Yesterday (Sat 20th) I was offered a white Blackline estate with DSG, but didn't want an estate. Mentioned the accesories I wanted and was then offer a stock vehicle that met most of my requirements, not happy so I ordered a vRS hatch with black alloys, anthracite interior, maxidot and xenons - so this will still be a factory build. The dealership checked before taking my order... so will wait and see if they were just after a sale.

Was told it would be February before I would get the new car, that is ok, my current vRS will keep me going until then!
