Hi! I hope someone out there can help.

I have a 2008 Octavia and am plagued by the wheel well in the boot collecting large amounts of water (a couple of litres at a time).

Water is clean - not from washer - but the tailgate seal seems to be sound as do the welds in the tailgate gutter.

Does anyone have any ideas of likely cause
