. . .that can allow me to control the music on my phone, from my PC.

I've looked at AirDriod, but that just plays the music via the laptop speakers, which isn't what I'm after. So if anyone knows of any 'remote desktop' style apps so I can control my phone from the PC with the music playing on the phone, not the PC, or just the music (skip, pause will do) then I'm all ears!

(It's an Xperia running version 4.0.*)

Doesnt double twist do that?

Maybe, just had a quick glance and couldn't really tell but didn't look like it.

A friend knocked up an app to do it for me though, so 'issue' over. And it's free this way.
