Hi all

I wanted to get hold of a Skoda 6 CD changer for my Fabia, does anyone know the compatible Skoda head units this will fit?

Also, would it be possible to purchase any after-market car stereo with a CD changer connection?

I'm trying to locate a second hand Symphony CD stereo to replace mine. Does anyone know how to go about 'unlocking' them so it works in my car?

You might be lucky to find previous owner stuck the 4 digit code to Symphony CD unit, as I have. (Got a terrible memory.)LOL

Skoda should be able to get code once fitted, but ask them in advance before any outlay.

Ask on-line at a scrapped-car breakers to locate the unit you require and ask about the code same time.

They would have the registration number of the vehicle the unit was removed from, to assist SKODA locate code.
