Well i should introduce myself, my names AJ.

Bought a silver 55 plate VRS about 3 week ago, i dont know if its some record but i owned it for 3 hours then remapped it LOL.

I have done the following dont plan to do a lot more...

Remap

Custom intake and fibreglass full snorkle head

HID's 6000k

Osram nightbreaker plus full beams

Lowered on JOM coilovers

JVC mp3 USB headunit

Leon cupra front splitter

Golf mk4 silver handles

plastidip stock wheels black

EGR delete

Made louvres and slits behind bumper in wheel arch

LED boot light

3M carbon fibre vents etc

Maybe a few more little bits.

The car is a 2nd car but i am over the moon with it really impressed overall dont know if my expectations were low but i think its a great mixture.

Unfortunately its overboosting a little but had it on a dyno and made 185BHP and 323 lb ft, a bit high torque but dont boot the car often.

Hoping to try and contribute to the community.

On it mate thanks, it was closer the requested funnily enough this time the boost from the dyno showed it lower than the actual from vcds. I'm trying to get hold of a vacuum box - I'm looking at this one but mine doesnt have a letter at the end and the code is a little different http://www.ebay.co.u...984.m1423.l2649

May i say to the community bondi is a very helpful and knowledgeable guy when it comes to tuning etc.

Just H7R in standard lights but i knocked the level down a little only had one flash in all the time i've driven it in the dark, most likely it will fail its next MOT.

Far too much torque, that's probably half the problem. After a certain point it gets difficult to control boost if there's too much injection for the little pd130 turbo, but that's just my opinion.

Thats quite a list for 3 weeks ownership

So what's next? Have you hit any pics?

Well sort out the overboosting and just little things really.

Will take pics soon, I'm pretty sure the car feels better with the snokle intake i made.
