Hi all!

I've been after a Superb for a little while since i borrowed a pool car from work to drive from Leicester to Oxford and it was pretty sweet. I wanted one with the umbrella in the door, but i'm getting a fairly basic one as Superbs go....

Bought it off ebay, so before anyone says anything, I did get it cheap, already got it booked in for a major service at the Skoda garage in Hull.

It's got a few issues that I know about:

Drivers side window won't open (although the motor runs)

Airbag warning light is on, the guy said it was the controller, but i'll find out when the garage have a proper look at it.

There was a leak at the top of the windscreen, which the previous owner fixed by using silicone sealant on it, so it works, but isn't too pretty!

the only bit that worries me a little is that is was a category C write off in 2008, had front end damage but it was all bodywork according to the seller. He replaced the bonnet and bumper, the radiator survived, so it doesn't sound like it was too bad an accident?

When i went to see it yesterday I stuck my hand under the seat to see if it was wet (thanks to the tips from here!)

So, i'll be driving it about 50 miles back to my house in Leicester tomorrow night, then the 120 miles to Hull (where I work) on Wed.
