does anyone have the dimensions of the under seat storage box L x W x H and I assume it's a pull out draw arrangement :wonder:

If it's like the one's I used to have on the Superb and Octy, it's a door, not a drawer.

The box bit goes under the seat and the door folds down, hinged at the bottom.

IIRC. Which can't be relied upon...getting old. Is it on the accesories brochure or just listed as underseat box?

It is a box with a door, not a drawer. Will try and get mine measured later.

Edit - rough size is 25cm wide x 12cm deep x 13cm high. Not a straight box - see picture (if it works!).

A very small compartment for small stuff

I had them on mine when ordered the car. To be honest they are fairly useless for much other than small objects and to stop my kids stuff they drop rolling right under my seat....

I would probably not order them again on a future car as an option.

Just thought I would add my 2 pence worth.

I find them perfect for keeping things like the Sat Nav out of sight, and the window squeegee and de-icer.

They're an option? On the Australian version, they come automatically with the car. Then again, so do the following, which I believe are options in the UK: Climatronic, 8 speaker stereo system, 6 airbags,reversing sensors, power windows all round, Bluetooth connectivity, voice control, cruise, Maxidot.

It's a pretty competitive market over here, a lot of brands and models competing for a limited volume.

Thought it might be a draw as this is how it works on the Yeti (passenger side only).

By the sounds of it then, self retrofit is much cheaper than factory fit, albeit the faff of getting round to the task; on to ponder :wonder:

Fitting is actually very easy (based on the Fabia). Just need to disconnet the battery, lift the seat (right tool makes it very easy) and fit the box. When I did it the problem I had was not using the right bit for the seat bolts. Other t han hat a 20min job per seat max.

Ive got one under each of the front seats, and Ive never used the one under the drivers seat! I keep some baby wipes and the squeegee in the passenger one. Not sure if I would order them again though. The more storage you`ve got the more clutter you keep in your car! And clutter creates rattles and I hate rattles!
