How to refit central air vent cover on a Fabia II

Featured Replies

I have managed to get my self in a bit of a pickle...

After attempting to remove the cover for the central air vents (don't ask), I managed to undo the clips in 3 corners but not the fourth so I can't remove the air vent and unfortunately I don't seem to be able to clip it back in either. Just to be clear, the part I am referring to is the black plastic assembly that includes the hazard light switch, not the silver trim that clips on to it.

As far as I can tell I haven't broken the clips, but when I attempt to refit it, the part it clips in to seems to move back slightly so I can't get the clips to fasten. Can anyone help with how to sort this?

Remove first the plastic pod that surrounds the radio system and then you will gain proper access to the central vent and aircon dials.
