the radio on my car works without the key being in the ignition which i thought strange as in theory you could flatten the battery due to forgetfulness?? is this a fault ??

Defo turns off after a bit - I think it says something on screen. I turned it back on once after turning off the ignition and ten minutes later it said "power save" I think and switched off.
