Standard Fabia mk1 VRS headunit reception

Hey guys,

I was wondering is their an easy way to improve the reception of the radio? is it just the headunit causing the problem or what? I would also like to update the headunit and put one that snuggly sits in the current CD player slot, can anyone advice on one? Pref have CD usage, ipod/some other memory source for music, in car calls would be a nice bonus also! Budget is no more than £150
