My drivers seat clicks, if I break it clicks one way and if I accelerate hard it clicks the other way. nothing major but it's really annoying. Be interested to see what it could be, I've checked most things were tight etc...

There's a fix for this on uk-mkivs somewhere. I'll see if I can find it later.

snap

My MK1 did this it was the metal moulded bolt that the inside rear roller screws onto it started to flex and squeak, I took the seat out and tightend the roller up and snapped the bolt OOPS! I had to drill the rest out of the seat base and fit a suitable bolt with a nut to lock it to the base then screw the roller back on...squeak fixed! . Seat bases are hard to come by as most people want to sell you the set and skoda wanted a fortune can't remember if it was £180 or £280.
