Hi all, I recently brought a OEM MFD unit off here for my MK1 Octavia VRS and I've fitted it all and it powers on but it won't let me enter the code?

It's just stuck on the enter code screen I can scroll up n down the numbers but it won't let me select them

I was just wondering if there is a lockout timer on them or somethink like that?

if its like the simillar unit in my Audi, you scroll up and down using the right control to select the number you want then press the same control inwards to enter it. if this is not working then its possible the unit is faulty.

Yep you need to then press in the button once you have selected the number so it keeps it and moves to next digit

It is the same unit but it will let me scroll up and down but wont let me select the number ?

im goin to try and take the battery off for a hour or so then try agen

Sorry to hear you're still having problems, have you tried pushing the button quite hard, I found to select menus with the right hand button I had to give it a good press, I assumed it was a design feature to stop accidental selection of the wrong menu.

Is it the same with other mfd units?
