When a close the boot or any of the offside doors I can hear a metallic rattle, it sounds to me like a heat shield is coming loose. Has any one else had this? If so do you know what it is and what the fix is?

Yes I have it, my dealer couldnt find anything wrong, I believe it could be the spare wheel/the wheel locking nut etc, but tbh I got use to it and now ignore it/dont really notice it, it does occassionally appear now but as the miles have gone on it disappears.

hi you may find its actually the rear light cluster well its where that noise is coming from on mine

After crawling under the car over the weekend, I think it is the heat sheild next to the exhaust back box. Probably just get a couple of sticky pads to stop it vibrating.
