Catch them whilst you can

Featured Replies

I was just reading a thread on the Octavia 3 page so today I ordered a new Octavia before they run out. I have seen the pictures of the new one, and it looks, well, BIG. So the current model is plenty big enough for me - the enormous boot is large enough. It cost 14600 pounds in sterling but I live in Poland so that's what it is after the exchange rate. I have absolutely no idea what are the specs or names of the different versions in the UK or what they are offering now, but I can say that I hopefully will have one of the cheapest new Octavias over here. It was 86000, now I have bought it for 73000zl, so that's 15 per cent off the list price. It's in black metallic, 2.0 110 bhp Tdi CR (6 speed manual box) with Proxima alloys, air con, rear parking sensors and other stuff you'd get on an Ambition. Don't know if it's a good deal compared with the UK, perhaps they are giving them away over there. The Octavia is a fantastic car so I just jumped at the chance. Mind you, I need to get it wearing winter tyres asap, so that's another expense.
