Hi everyone, saw on my Yahoo homepage that Skoda are launching a new Superb called the Outdoor. Basically it seems to be a Superb version of the Octavia Scout based on the SE with a few extras, 4wd with a choice of engines, 1.8TSI manual box, 2.0 TDI 140 DSG and 2.0 TDI 170 manual.

I notice its just on the SE trim. I'd be tempted for the more rugged version on my next renewal if I could get the same level of trim as I do now in my Elegance. I assume with the SE you can add what you like on top anyway or is it limited?

It seems to be a standalone, new trim level based on the SE but with a few extra bits and pieces. I don't think it will be the same spec as the Elegance.

Do you think they will make an indoor version too?

It´s been available here in Sweden for a couple of months. Actually looks pretty good.

I think it's a stop-gap as there is no current Octavia Scout and it may be some time before one becomes available.
