skoda felicia 2000

 Hello All,

i have skoda felicia 2000 i noticed the temperature of the motor increases to more than 100 deg when the speed go more than 100 km only but when the speed is ex. 80 km the temp . is 90 deg. can i have solution from any frinds,

This is just a guess but when you go faster in the same gear you have higher revs resulting in higher rate of combustions in the engine thus using more fuel and creating more heat! The temp increase is the cooling system dealing with the increase in heat produced! Id advise that the you check your radiator fluid is at the correct level. If the levels are low then check the engine bay for red crystals on all the rad pipes as this genrally means there is a leak and rad weld will solve the problem!

I used to have the same problem playing leap frog on the motorway at 90mph where the temp gauge would go loopy and also when a leak developed on my rad system!

Welcome to Briskoda. My Felicia's temperature gauge does not have any temperature figures on it. Is the temperature pointer moving into the red area on your gauge? And what is the daytime temperature where you live in Egypt now?
