any body got any ideas ?????

its just rusty discs, when left to sit if there is any moisture or rain at all the discs (and its similar on drums too) get surfsace rust, the first wee while the pads remove the rust giving a clean edge causing noise, and then back to normal.

This is totally normal and nothing to worry about

Mine used to do it and i had a sticky caliper on drivers side rear, i tried every trick in book but ended up with a reconned caliper,

Take pads out make sure there all nice and free in carrier and greased up, file a chanfered edge onto surface of pad at 45 degrees if they dont already have it,

Could try some caliper return springs there about 2 quid each from dealers, ill find part number out if you dont find it from a search through forum
