Hey guys,

I have a fabia estate, and annoyingly It doesnt have any roof rails... I'm looking to put two bikes on the top...

I have some old Thule bars/channels for the bike, but they have the claw/grabber attachment type at the end of the horizontal bars :/

d'ya think it would be cheaper to just buy a new set of foot mount bars?

I retro fitted roof rails to my old fabia sdi estate..

I paid £50 for them from someone breaking one..

Bit of a faf to fit coz u have to take all the sh!tty brittle plastic a b + c trims + drop or remove the roof lining +it leaked after fitting :(

Also the plastic trims on the rails easily break so chances the breaker who removes it will brake those aswell..

Dno how much the normal mount bars cost but i just fit rails because they look better lol...

If ur not to fussed about what they look like then ull be better off getting normal bars.. i was looking for months before i found someone breaking one with rails..
