No VAT on vRS ?

Featured Replies

we were having a preliminary look at Mk2 vRS Estates last weekend, possibly thinking of replacing our trusty Mk1 vRS SE.

The dealer mentioned the 0 VAT offer (which I was aware of) and said it also applied to the Fabia vRS.

went and checked the website, vRS is not on the list of applicable vehicles in the small print

Nipped into the dealer on my way home again today, asked again about this and they confirmed it did apply.

Anyone else heard this? Anyone else claimed this recently and got a no-VAT vRS?

Has this been putting off anyone from buying / negotiating hard over a vRS becuase you didn't think you'd get it?

Anyone fobbed off by the dealer recently with the website small print ?

I'd be interested in your thoughts/experiences...

Seems to be upto the dealer wether the include the vrs in the deal or not, your not the first to ask.....theres no real clear information about it

Yes I got a no vat vrs from Caffyns in Ashford, the vrs is excluded from the 0% finance offer though

2 of my colleagues have got vrs estates with no vat in the last 3 months

Yes no VAT.

The Skoda website is a fascinating bit of kit. :wonder:

To sum it up the vRS is applicable to:

No VAT & 7.9% repesentative APR up to 3 years HP or 3 1/2 PCP with 3 years or 30k free servicing.

It is excluded from the 0% APR (only applicable to Elegance and Scout models).

Hope that helps and good luck with the car

I concur with the above post by a skoda dealer by the look of it.

I just ordered my Fabia Vrs today with no vat
