Bolero touch screen stereo vs VW RCD510

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

Does anyone happen to know if the Bolero touch screen fitted to the 2012 Octavia VRS is a variation (but the same) of the VW RCD510?

I'm particularly interested in the rear connections as I'm having a Bluetooth kit removed from my Passat and re-fitted into an Octavia in the next week or two.

I've asked Skoda and VW dealers but nobody seems to know.

Thanks.....

The rear connections across the VW family should all be the same: "Quadlock"

If it's been done the easy way, should just require unlatching the green connector from the Quadlock in the Passat and slipping it into the one in the Octavia. ;)

yes the rear connections are the same, the rnd510,rns510,bolero and columbus all use the same rear end
