In the brochure picture it shows an apple ipod, will it also be ok with an iphone ? The slot it fits into does not look that big in the picture ?

It should do

I have used a 4s in MDI with no issues

Plays and charges

Oh that's good, cheers guys.

I wanted my new Fabia with that 510 stereo the polo has as an option, with the 6 cd changer, mdi port, and DAB.

But now I know it plays and charges an iPod then that's no worry :)

Cheers for that, i have an Iphone 3Gs and have a lot of my albums on it, coded in Apple Lossless so the sq is decent, this is the best way for me to get my songs into the car. I will get it ordered when the new car goes in.

Yes it does, however on my iPhones it has an annoying habit of starting playing my music in alphabetical order... Rather than the last song played... A bit annoying when you get back in the car after the petrol station.

+1 for playlist starting back at 'a' all the time (ipod touch)

Annoying but must be a way round it somehow

sorry to be slightly off topic, but when i've plugged in my ipod (1st gen shuffle) and iphone 4s, it never shows the track name, just ''track 68'' or what ever. How do you get it to show the track name? and also, the car's bluetooth worked with both my old phones, but i can't seem to make it work with the 4s again. Anyone else had this problem?

Thanks

Press info to get song name, can do the same when on a radio station

Sorry to dug this up - did you get it working with your 3Gs?

Mine plugs in and charges, but won't appear on my Columbus!

Am wondering if the 3Gs doesn't work or whether my iPhone is bust (probably).
