When I was at the dealers the other day I were speaking to one of the engineers who say some companies now offer a service where they stick a chemical into the fuel filter let it run in the sytem then drain it. He told me the name but I have forgot.

Anyone done anything like this before?

He said it was around £100 - Skoda don't do it.

I wouldn't want to do that on a PD engine - Skoda don't do it for a reason.

So you would say the below is a BAD idea?
