Photoshop Guru Needed...

Featured Replies

Would any Photoshop Guru be kind enough to make me a picture of my VRS...i want one of those pictures where it looks like the bonnet of the car is semi-transparent, and you can see the engine... I'm assuming i would need two identical pictures, one with the bonnet closed, and one with it open. You can find the said 2 pictures here:

Thanks in advance....

My email address for any return picture is:

Haha aye thats some boring driving right there. I live up a wee hill, so set off almost straight away im doing 80 mpg, on way home i get to hold 42mph, then make sure mpg doesnt drop below 60mpg up the hill, that slows me to a stop outside my house.

I havent updated recently on fuelly but its about 69mpg now due to lots of town driving

Absolutely amazing mate...I can't thank you enough...this will take pride of place framed in my bedroom.

Can anything be done to jazz up or change the background...or am I asking too much...?

I could change the distortion caused by the wide angle lens so it doesn't look warped.

Background is asking a bit much....

If you want top quality photos, ask a professional photographer to do it!

Well done mate...now that really does look nice...I would have liked to have taken the picture somewhere with a better backdrop to start with, but needed to be home today, so took it in the drive...

Any chance you could send the full res picture to my email...?

pm'd ben

or you could go this route, tone mapped triple exposure then lightroomed to death

vrs10.jpg

Very rushed of course

Keeping it realistic....

Lens distortion removed, contrast increased, background desaturated and lens blur.

Sorry to say, it's not perfect - what can you expect for 3-4 minutes work.

I didn't use layer masks otherwise I would have corrected the overspill of masking just above the driver's wing mirror.

I should also have extended the diffused area into the tarmac so that the blend is more realistic and believable.

For a bedroom print, for a chap to appreciate his motor, and for most on here, it would not be noticed. Ideal for a 10x8 or something like that.

Thats what separates you pro's from our/my inexperience. Only another photographer would notice those things mentioned

That's brill KB...can you send me it...please...!

I wouldn't try blowing the last image up to 10x8 otherwise you will notice the joins on the masking - and it's only a 72ppi 800px image which would pixelate massively at that size.

To do it really well and make it realistic would take much longer!

Hence, I'd have to charge for anything more than I have done.

Next time I'm in Leeds area, I'll drop Ben a PM and see if we can take some pictures that won't need photoshopping (is that a noun like googling is?).

haha, i think the verb would be photoshoping? otherwise it sounds like a method of purchase

Its gonna be hard finding a black and white backdrop though. :giggle:
