Swop for Mini Cooper s or not? Helllpp

Featured Replies

I have been offered a swop for my fabia vrs mk1 2005 with a Mini Cooper s 2003 plus £800 cash.

My fabia is mapped to 185bhp had a new clutch and fitted with coilovers with 79k and the mini is standard with 52k.

What shall I do? Is it worth it?

what are the pro's and con's or owning either? weigh it up. then make a decision. everyone has there own opinion. mine would be keep the fabia because the economy and performance is brilliant compared to the mini.

The ONLY thing the Mini has over the Fabia, is that it will handle better!

And it sounds sooooo much cooler with that supercharger screaming. Would have thought it might have a higher future value too.

If I didn't have to worry too much about the running costs, I'd take the Cooper S!

Ah yes, the supercharger, that does sound good!

NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The grass always seems greener on the other side. Iv been scared to change cars incase i buy someone elses problem. So if its not broke dont fix it. Everyone likes an under dog

the supercharged verison is horrendous.

Keep the VRS

How many miles do you cover a year? If it's low, the mini will be far more fun.

Girls car in my opion, but if it floats your boat who cares

VRS everytime :)

Stick with the vRS :-)

Girls car in my opion, but if it floats your boat who cares

but then the vRS is an old man's car...

When I sold my Furby last weekend I was sad to see

it drive away. It's been such a good car and although I have spent

lots on it over the years, most of that was modding and maintenance.

The only time it came close to being broken down was when the dmf

started grumbling. It was replaced along with the clutch within 3 days

but if I'm honest it was my early unfamiliarity with how to drive a mapped

diesel properly that probably contributed to its demise.

I hope the next car is as reliable. I'm not modding the new one...

Well... maybe but just cosmetic and addition of OE features.
