Passenger side mirror reverse mode

Featured Replies

Hi y`All

(Just to keep in with the USA election! Sick of hearing about it!)

My car went in for it`s first service last week and was fine but the facility for the passenger side mirror to tilt down when in reverse (with dot set at L on knob) has now gone into reverse itself when reverse is selected and instead of tilting down reaches for the sky. Very handy when you are being straffed by enemy fighters.I do find this function handy when parking to the side of my drive and avoiding a low wall.

I do know the dealer did update some softwear for the electric chair which has been working fine even if it took me months to understand the key settings .

I have disabled the function on the MDF and await a return call from the garage.

Will report back but wonder if the softwear is set up wrong and anybody had similar problem?

Cheers

Funnily enough mine is playing up too. It always folds down not not always back up.....but it does if you switch off the ignition. Strange

Mine does this too, but reverts to normal view once I reach about 10 mph forwards. I assume it stays facing the kerb until it thinks you have finished manouvering.

That's right

It doesn't go back until turn off ignition or drive forwards at over about 6mph. Putting it in park it stays where it is from memory.
