Your more than welcome buddy, I couldn't get over the way it was vac plummed! Vac was going to out and egr control was connected to turbo, antishudder connected to n75, and was all totally wrong. Also he had sticky vnt of course so we did Mr muscle and then Maf was faulty so replaced that too.

Was a relative flying machine when work was done. Glad I could help, and hope that gives you a good intro to briskoda, keep dropping in on the forum dude, and text me if you have any other problems mate.

Introduce yourself in the intro forum too, and get to know everyone.

Hi Lofty,,

With regards to your fab Mr Muscle treatment guide,,do you have one for the vac hose removal?

I'd be interested in that....I'm getting the Mr Muscle one done next week,,as My car is in bad bad need of it..Getting the EGR cleaned as well,as it's never been done, and the car is a 02 with 160,000 on the clock.

.

can draw one up, you wanting the anti shudder valve left in tact?

Yes..I'm leaving the anti-shudder there....Car is old enough, and rattles anyway,,so anything to minimise that. ;)

Thanks again..

it was hopeless, and drove just like an sdi. but took 3 turns to start it, when i replumbed it, less than a turn and it starts, like mine does.

I'm not surprised. It must have been a very confused car with all that wrong plumbing!

Obviously some cowboy worked on it previously.
