Engine Management Light

Recommended Posts

Hi there I keep getting the engine management light coming on.

Someone has said that it could be one of 2 sensors doing this. One being for the engine temp and the other to do with the air fuel mix.

I am sure it cant be the engine temp as it sits where it always does but was thinking it could be the other one, Is there a guide on here for how to change it out and also best place to fine a new one?

Thanks for looking,

Paul

Unless you want to waste cash do not buy owt until you get the codes read properly, personally i'd let it come on a couple of times just to make sure it's the same problem each time

Sent from my Galaxy S3, not a Crapple!

As stated diagnostic is needed as it could many things causing the EML to come on. Coolant temp sensor failure is very common as is the MAF sensor. When it comes to replacing engine sensors using genuine VAG parts is an absolute must or you'll probably be buying twice.
