Remote Key Fob

Featured Replies

Did anyone get two remotes with their car? I was a bit surprised to only receive one remote plus a conventional key. I noticed that on the Up forum that some have complained about receiving only one when two were mentioned in the brochure and subsequently have received a second remote fob. I was going to buy a spare but they are quite expensive.

Nope, one remote one plain key

It is a budget car after all.

We only got one and an apology from the dealer when I asked, why not two. That's how all of them come I'm afraid, they said, but I already knew that, worth a try.

We do have the second key without the fob.

i have just ordered a second folding key fob for £94.00 which includes a £28.00 coding to the car cost

The part numebr I was give is 3T0 837 202L for a 3 button transponder key fob.

Fair enough its a 'budget' car but only supplying one 'proper' key is taking it abit too far.

I agree. The cost difference between the flip/solid key can only be around a tenner but it would be worth it.

Having said that there are several other bits/accessories that you would have thought were on the accessories list e.g. raised boot floor, rear mud flaps, rear bumper protector etc. bu Skoda UK don't see it the same way?

Would be interesting if the UP! gets the same ?

The Up! owners get one remote key as well, but I get the impression from their website if they shout/scream loud enough VW or the dealer will supply a second key free of charge.
