Door glass weather strips

Featured Replies

The rubber strips that run along the top of the doors and the bottom of the door glass are constantly popping up on the B pillar end.

I notice that there are locating holes on the b pillar where it looks like something should attach to the door and rubber strip, any idea whats usually in place to stop attach the rubber strip to the b puller to stop it popping uo?

Have they been off previously?

They may keep popping up as they are very easy to bend therefore may have been bent a bit like a banana if that makes sense causing the one end to pop up.

They look like they have been off previously, i have bought two new ones that do the same and look like they should fix to the b pillar.

Wondering if there is meant to be a clip or something on the b pillar

How much where they? I may get some new ones as mine look a bit grey.

There was no clips or anything on mine. I'm pretty sure mine haven't been off as there was moss and loads of muck stuck in them lol!

This is the news ones i have, as you can see there is e section at each end that looks like it clips into something.

I think they were about 12 quid each

There is sort of a clip on the door, the E grooves make sure it locates properly. I'm guessing the bit is on your car, as I'm having the same issue with it popping off all the time. New strip should sort it and am planning to buy new ones myself soon.
