Mk1 Cappachino Beige vs Mk2 Cappachino Beige ?

Featured Replies

This may seem odd but we have had a Mk1 1.9TDI Elegance from being virtually new (and love it), its in Cappachino Beige and having just changed my older and not very fuel efficient BMW for a Mk2 1.6CR TDI Elegance .... also in Cappachino Beige i wanted to ask if both cars in the same colour are actually the same in regards shade of colour ? My wife and i both think our Mk1 maybe a little darker than the Mk2..... could this be or is it just the light etc. Are both Cappachino Beige colours the same or have the factory changed the makeup of the colour over the different models ?

Ta.

It's quite possible that pigments may have changed slightly over the years due to supplier changes etc.

No 2 separate batches of paint are ever the same colour.

have a look under the boot lining and you should see a rectangular sticker; on there will be the paint codes. Compare them :)
